G. Charles W. Sellers has been promoted to the position of Vice President & General Manager, Specialty Wire Group. He joined Rigby-Maryland as Business Manager, Welding Products in March 1998 and became Managing Director in July 1999. Prior to his association with Handy & Harman, Charles held several progressive marketing and business management positions including Marketing Director and Managing director for several UK based companies including Industrial Economy Ltd., Service Welding Group Ltd., and Wilkinson Welding Ltd. In addition, Charles spent over four years running his own international marketing consulting company called Fusion Marketing.
Charles is a graduate of Huddersfield Polytechnic University with a B.A. (Honors) in Business Studies. In his new role, Charles will have operational and P&L responsibility for the entire Specialty Wire Group which consists of Maryland Specialty Wire (Cockeysville, MD), Rigby-Maryland (West Yorkshire, England), Strandflex (Oriskany, NY) and Willing B Wire (Willingboro, NJ).
He will operate from two locations, Maryland Specialty Wire in the US and Rigby-Maryland in the UK.
