WAI & AWPA Synchronize
Programs
The Wire Association International (WAI), Inc. and the American Wire Producers Association (AWPA) are synchronizing their programs to effectively co-locate WAI's Wire Expo event with the AWPA's Spring Operations Managers' Meeting, in Cleveland, Ohio, June 14-16, 2004, bringing together wire industry activities and creating added learning and networking opportunities for industry colleagues.
Steven J. Fetteroll, WAI Executive Director, said, "We are very pleased to work with the AWPA toward a program that will mutually benefit our respective members. Our goal is to carefully schedule activities, so that people who planned on attending the AWPA meeting can also benefit from the Wire Expo experience. Basically, we are extending the audience and adding to the potential mix of attendees to enrich both events."
AWPA's Executive Director, Kimberly Korbel and the AWPA's Operations Steering Committee are committed to providing quality opportunities to AWPA members and are looking forward to participating with the WAI members in the Expo hall and the various learning events offered by the Wire Association. Kimberly said, "We find a great synergy in working with the Wire Association and we look forward to offering our mutual members this enhanced program."
