Insteel Still Busy Hosting Legislators
|
On August 12, Rep. Michael Castle (R-DE) visited the Insteel Wire Products plant in Wilmington. Bill Davis, General Manager, took this opportunity to explain the effects antidumping and countervailing duty orders on downstream producers of steel wire products.
During the plant tour, Castle was able to inspect some mesh being produced and see some site preparation for additional equipment. The Congressman appeared very interested in federal trade legislation and how it affects Insteel's business as a downstream user of steel.
