Your hotel reservations should be made by calling The Vinoy’s Central Reservation Office directly at 1-888-789-3090 (you must mention the AWPA) or by using the AWPA’s direct reservation link online: https://resweb.passkey.com/Resweb.do?mode=welcome_ei_new&eventID=13968258.
To secure the discounted room rate, please make your reservation no later than 5 pm, Monday, January 23, 2016. The special meeting rates are available for standard sleeping rooms at $255 per night, plus tax, for both single and double occupancy and are good for three days prior and three days after the dates of our meeting. AWPA’s deeply discounted room rates are available only until January 23, 2016, or until the room block is full. You are urged to make your hotel reservations quickly. Reservations must be secured by deposit using a credit card at the time of the reservation. All deposits will be charged at the time the reservation is made.
TRANSPORTATION
The Vinoy St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club is located approximately 21 miles from Tampa International Airport. Taxi service is available to the hotel for approximately $60 one-way. All major rental car providers are available, as well.
WEATHER & ATTIRE
St. Petersburg in February is well-known for its mild sunny days and cool evenings. Expect temperatures in the low 70s during the day and upper 50s during the evenings. Be sure to pack long pants and a sweater or jacket for evening functions. Meeting attire is sports/resort casual.
