Accommodations
Attendees who book at the conference hotel save on the registration fee. Old Town Alexandria is convenient to the Capitol, dining options, and the hotel has a shuttle for trips to historic King St. and the surrounding area.

AWPA members are responsible for making their own reservations online HERE. Identify yourself as an AWPA Government Affairs Conference attendee to receive the special group rate of $209/night plus taxes for single or double occupancy. The group rate is available two days prior and two days after the meeting dates, based on availability.
All rooms must be guaranteed by credit card at the time of reservation. Discounted rooms are available until August 21, or until the room block is full, whichever occurs first. Reservations must be made on or before August 21. Your cooperation in making early reservations is greatly appreciated, and you will have a better experience if you are at the conference hotel. This deadline cannot be extended, so make your reservation early.
Please be sure to confirm your travel details, and ensure your arrival and departure dates for your hotel reservation are correct before you check in to the Westin. Early departures will be charged a fee equal to one room night.
Transportation
Local airports are Reagan National-DCA (15 minutes), Dulles International-IAD (40-60 minutes) and Baltimore Washington International-BWI (60 to 90 minutes). Taxis from Reagan are approximately $40 depending on traffic. All three airports have authorized Uber and Lyft pick-ups.
Cancellations and Early Departure Penalty
Reservations may be cancelled up to seventy-two hours prior to arrival, after which one night’s stay will be charged to your credit card. If you choose to leave before your reservation's departure date, you may also be charged one additional night's fee.
