Description: In 1978, Coastal Wire Co. began production in rented facilities in Andrews, South Carolina, manufacturing high carbon spring wire for the bedding industry. In 1980, the company installed wire annealing furnaces, and redirected production to the manufacture of black annealed, automatic baling wire and bale ties. In the last 35 years we have expanded operations three times, innovated several new products, including our unique KleenGreen™ bale ties and staple free boxed wire products. In 2016 Coastal Wire Company acquired the assets of Casa Grande Wire. This added a 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility with a state of the art galvanizing line, wire drawing machines and other complementary equipment associated with the manufacture of agricultural wire and expanded Coastal Wire Company’s reach. From recycling to agriculture industries, our continuing research & development efforts allow us to remain at the competitive forefront of wire manufacturing.
