This year’s congressional visits focused on ENFORCE, which is now waiting to be moved through the reconciliation process as part of the Customs Reauthorization bill before it can be signed into law by the President. AWPA Members also promoted the US House of Representatives Wire & Wire Products Caucus, provided information to Congress on the impact of recent actions taken by the National Labor Relations Board, and took the opportunity to invite legislators to tour their facilities. If you are interested in AWPA’s positions on the issues, you can read about them here,  or on the AWPA website under Government Relations.
