Administrative Review of AD Order on Carbon and Alloy Steel Wire Rod from Mexico (2013/2014) – Preliminary Results

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced its preliminary results in the administrative review of the antidumping order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Mexico. The review covers two Mexican producers/exporters – ArcelorMittal Las Truchas S.A. de C.V. and Deacero S.A. de C.V. – during the period from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014.  The DOC has calculated preliminary weighted-average dumping margins of 12.38% for ArcelorMittal Las Truchas and 72.95% for Deacero.   The current dumping duty deposit rates are 5.59% for ArcelorMittal Las Truchas and 0.00% for Deacero.  The DOC plans to complete this review by March 2016.  The current dumping duty deposit rates will remain in effect until the DOC’s final results are published in the Federal Register next year.
