ITC Sunsets Some of the Antidumping Orders on Stainless Steel Wire Rod

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its determinations in the third sunset review of the antidumping (AD) orders on stainless steel wire rod from Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, and Taiwan.

The ITC made negative determinations with respect to Italy and Spain with a vote of four-to-two on Italy and unanimous on Spain. As the result of these negative determinations, the existing AD orders on imports of this stainless steel wire rod from Italy and Spain will be revoked.

The ITC made affirmative determinations with respect to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. The Commissioner’s votes were unanimous. Accordingly, the AD orders on imports of stainless steel wire rod from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan will remain in force for a further period of five years.
