WCJ Pilgrim Wire, headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, with a growing footprint of production and distribution centers across the United States and Europe, together with international partners, announces the acquisition of all outstanding shares of Mount Joy Wire.

This investment has a clear objective to continue and strengthen operations at the Mount Joy, Pennsylvania facility with the existing team of highly skilled and motivated employees. Founded in 1991, Mount Joy Wire operates a 220,000 square foot manufacturing facility and employs approximately 120 people. The company has supplied the U.S. market for decades as a manufacturer of specialized high carbon steel wire, earning a strong reputation across a broad portfolio of specialty wire products.

Mount Joy Wire will operate independently and separately in the marketplace from other ventures related to the new ownership. The company will retain its management structure, operational focus, and customer relationships, ensuring continuity and stability for customers and suppliers.
