Nucor Corporation, incorporated in 1958 and headquartered in the U.S., is North America’s largest steel recycler, operating 26 U.S.-based steel mills with roughly 30 million tons of annual steelmaking capacity and more than 100 steel products fabrication centers across the continent.

A member of AWPA since 2003, Nucor has contributed to the Association for more than two decades through active participation, industry engagement, and volunteer leadership. Several Nucor representatives have served on the AWPA Board of Directors, helping guide the organization’s priorities and strengthen its work on behalf of members. Most recently, Nick Schultz, Commercial Director – Engineered Bar, served on the Board, continuing Nucor’s tradition of leadership and service to the Association.
