Manufacturers for Trade Enforcement Coalition Sends Letter to Commerce Regarding China’s Non-Market Economy Status

The AWPA has, as part of the Manufacturers for Trade Enforcement coalition, has signed a letter to Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, in response to a Federal Register notice announcing its inquiry into the status of China as a non-market economy country under the United States’ trade laws.

The letter describes how China’s economy does not meet the statutory requirements of classification as a market economy.
