The AWPA is now accepting speaker submissions for the 2026 Operations Managers Meeting, taking place October 20–21 in Nashville, TN, with facility tours hosted by Mid-South Wire and sister companies.

This year, we’re handing the mic to the people doing the work. We’re looking for two presenters from within the industry who can speak to what’s actually happening on the floor and in the field — no theory, no sales pitches. Just ideas the audience can act on.

Topics We’re Focused On

We are seeking presentations that address one or more of the following areas:

• Wire Drawing Processes — new techniques, efficiency gains, and quality challenges
• Chemicals & Materials — what’s working, what’s changed, and what’s coming
• Equipment & Technology — innovations worth adopting (and ones that weren’t)
• Workforce Training & Safety — keeping teams skilled, safe, and ready

Presentation Details

Each presentation will be 40–50 minutes in length and must follow an educational format. Only two presentations will be selected through a competitive review process.
